Several of our players teamed up over the past few weekends and came home with medals. Last weekend, Bob Rooker and Sakae Tanaka fought their way to the finals of the Mentor Shootout, 4.0 Mixed Division, and came away with SIlver. Two of our newest players, Dan and Cindi Fan, battled their way to first-place honors in the shootout’s Mixed 3.5 Division. Cindi and Dan were undefeated for the day!

Just this past Saturday, Julie O’brien and her son, Brendan, paired for the first time and won the Mixed 3.5 Division Round Robin at Paramount in Medina. The two went 7-1 for the day. Brendan just started playing pickleball in April! Like father/mother; like son? Taking Gold in the same division, but different round robin, were Cindi and Dan Fan. Cindi and Dan went 5 and 1 for the tournament.
